The National Weather Service said it received reports of a tornado touching down in Tehama County on Thursday.
The tornado touched down just before 7 p.m. south of Red Bluff as it was moving east of Interstate 5, according to eyewitness reports.
A tornado warning was issued by the National Weather Service for central Tehama County at 6:48 p.m.
The National Weather Service said Doppler Radar indicated rotation within a storm moving through the area.?
The warning expired at 7:15 p.m.
There were no reports of damage caused by the tornado.
