Another week, another donut. That?s two weeks in a row and, dammit, I tried! I put a ton of time into the completely-mediocre Rage, but I just could not wrap it up. ?I?m sitting with 160 points so far, having spent slightly over 14 hours in the Wastelands, along with 20 achievements. ?I should be able to beat it tomorrow, but that doesn?t count for anything this week.
The other game that I spent some time on this week was Kirby?s Epic Yarn. ?My wife and I are having a good time playing through it in Co-Op, so we will take our time and beat it when it happens. ?So far, we have spent 2 hours and 49 minutes in Kirby?s?world and we have completed about 20%, according to the in-game stat tracker.
My third game is Madworld, which I haven?t played since my initial sit down with it. ?The game is very short, so I should be able to wrap it up fairly quickly once I get back to it, having already logged 43 minutes in it.
My week was pretty dead, gaming-wise. ?I didn?t touch my systems on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, so it?s my own fault that I wasn?t able to beat anything, but life called. ?Not only did we spend Wednesday night recording the Video Game Confidential, but my wife worked late on Thursday, which left me in charge of entertaining my son until she got home. ?Friday was her birthday, so no game playing that night. ?That left yesterday and today, which I spent a lot of time trying to play catch-up.
Next week, my score is going to skyrocket, as I will have Rage?beaten and I?ll move on to something else. ?If I really put any effort into it, I can wrap up episodes 2 and 3 of The Walking Dead?as well as a short FPS game, but I don?t want to bite off any more than I can chew. ?Rest easy BigRedNY, your lead is safe this week, but I?m comin? for ya?!
